Seminar on Dental Care held in Kilinochchi

A symposium on the state of Dental Care of the northeast was held Saturday at the Tamils Rehabilitation Organization (TRO) conference hall in Kilinochchi, sources from Vanni said. The symposium was organized by the Centre for Health Care based in Kilinochchi in collaboration with the Norwigion Tamils Health Organization.

Deputy leader of the political wing, S Thangan, Director of Tamil Eelam Health Services, medical personnel of the Liberation Tigers, the Executive Director of Centre for Health Care (CHC), Director of Thileepan Medical services, Dental Surgeons of the northeast Govt hospitals, other doctors of the Northeast and visting expatriate Tamils doctors attended this seminar.

The President of the Norwegion Tamil Health Organization represented the NTHO.

Prof. Per Fauchald, Specialist in internal medicine and nephrology of Norway, who has been working as a volunteer in the NorthEast for the last three months spoke on his observations of general state of health and dental care in the NorthEast, and urged expatriate Tamil doctors to engage more in the welfare of people in NorthEast.
