Free Media Movement (FMM) is planning to hold a demonstration Tuesday evening in front of the Fort Railway Station in Colombo condemning the brutal killing of journalist Mr.D.Sivaram and demanding the Government to conduct impartial inquiry to identify the assassins, sources said.

Tamil Media Alliance and other media associations are also participating in the demonstration, sources said.

Trincomalee District Tamil Peoples' Forum (TDTPF) has also organized a public meeting in Trincomalee Town Hall on Tuesday evening to condemn the killing of Mr.Sivaram. TDTPF in a statement issued Monday in this regard said the government should take full responsibility for the murder of Mr.Sivaram

Mr.Sivaram was kidnapped on Thursday night opposite the Bambalapitya police station in Colombo by a group of unidentified persons. His bullet-ridden body was recovered Friday early morning dumped along Sri Lanka-Japan road, close to parliament complex in Jeyawardenapura, sources said.
