Fifteen killled in Vanni fighting

The Voice of Tigers (VoT) Radio said today that thirteen Liberation Tigers were killed in separate clashes with the Sri Lankan Army (SLA) on Tuesday and Wednesday.
Six Tiger fighters died when the LTTE repulsed the SLA advance from Karadipokku junction in Paranthan yesterday said the radio. Four Liberation Tigers died in a clash with the SLA in the Olumadu region and three other LTTE fighters died in a clash with the SLA in the Mankulam region on Tuesday, the radio said. Meanwhile, two SLA soldiers were killed and three wounded when the Liberation Tigers fired mortars on Army positions near Olumadu, east of Mankulam yesterday around 5.50 p.m., said SLA sources. The wounded have been admitted to the Anuradhapura hospital, said the sources.
