Leadership training programme concluded

Ten-day seminar on First Aid and Leadership Training for tsunami affected students of Trincomalee district conducted by the Independent Human Development Organization (IHDO) with the sponsorship of USA based Mercy Corps concluded recently at Trincomalee Vipulananda College.

Mr.V.Senthilkumanan, President of the IHDO said his organization has provided training in First Aid and Leadership to about 2300 tsunami affected students in the district.

Mr.A.Selvanayagam, Principal of the Vipulananda College and Ms Gretchen Ansorge spoke.

Dr (Ms.) Thiruchelvam distributed certificates to successful candidates who completed the training, sources aid.
