Southern NGO donates books to Muttur students

Vipra Foundation, a non-governmental organization in the south of Sri Lanka, donated a consignment of textbooks and other learning materials to students affected war and tsunami in the Liberation Tigers held Muttur east in the Trincomalee district. The event took place at a Sinnakulam government Tamil mixed school which has a history of lacking resources for primary education, sources said.

Ms Vipra Seneviratne and Mr.Elilan seen distributing textbooks for Year Five students.
Ms Vipra Seneviratne of Vipra Foundation handed the consignment of books to Mr.S.Elilan, LTTE Trincomalee district political head, sources said.

Mr.Puratchi, Trincomalee district head of the Tamileelam Students Organization, Mr.Kalaisangar, Vakarai Students Union and Mr.A.Gunarajaratnam, Deputy Zonal Director of Education also participated in the event.
