LTTE opens Planning Secretariat in Trinco

Liberation Tigers opened a District Planning and Development Secretariat in Chenaiyoor in the LTTE held Muttur east in the Trincomalee district, Wednesday evening, sources said. Colonel Sornam, Trincomalee District Special Commander of the LTTE declared open the secretariat building and Mr.S.Elilan, LTTE Trincomalee district political head unveiled the name board of the secretariat.

Mr.Puratchi, Trincomalee district head of the Thamileelam Students Forum presided over the event.

Mr. Vincent, Trincomalee district head of the Thamileelam Police hoisted the Thamileelam national flag and Sivasiri Sivenesakkurukal lit the flame of sacrifice.

Mr.Elilan and Mr.Jesuthasan, Director of the Trincomalee District Planning and Development Secretariat spoke at the event.

"Economic and technological development of our nation, and social and cultural development of our people, are our focus. These, we will continue to do even while there may be periods of uncertainty and war," said Mr.Elilan.
