SLA soldier killed in Claymore attack in Thenmaradchi

One of the two Sri Lanka Army (SLA) soldiers wounded in a Claymore attack Sunday morning in Mattuvil, Thenmaradchi in Jaffna, succumbed to his wounds, SLA sources said. The attackers also fired gunshots after the explosion of a small type anti-personnel Claymore mine, according to SLA sources.

The attackers targetted a group of SLA soldiers on road patrol west of Kanakampuliyadi junction.
