Claymore blast hits Buffel APC, 2 SLA soldiers killed, 6 wounded in Vavuniya

Two Sri Lanka Army soldiers were killed and 6 wounded when a Buffel Armoured Personnel Carrier (APC) was hit by a claymore blast at Kalmadu in Vavuniya around 5.30. p.m., Saturday, SLA sources said.

The troops from the Kalmadu SLA camp were on road patrol when they were attacked, according to the sources.

The wounded soldiers were taken to military hospital at the Joseph camp in Vavuniya.
