Trader killed in Jaffna

A trader was cut to death at his home at Nachimarkovilady, a suburb of Jaffna town, Saturday night. Sri Lanka Army maintains a sentry post 50 metres from his home on the KKS road, sources said.

Sivasubramanium Vigneswaran, 36, from Paalaavodai in Karinagar and owner of a shop at Nachimarkovilady was found on his bed with his throat cut, the sources said.

His body was brought to Jaffna Teaching Hospital, Sunday morning, the sources said.
