IOM conducts capacity-building program in Kilinochchi

The International Organization for Migration (IOM) with the help of Centre for Health Care (CHC) conducted a 6 day integrated Capacity Building Training Program for the staff from CHC , various Non Governmental Organizations (NGOs), and staffers at the Medical Officer of Health (MOH) office, at the Training Auditorium of CHC located along A-9 road in Kilinochchi, sources in Kilinochchi said.



35 participants underwent training conducted on 3 weekends betwen 23 September and 8 October.

The training program covered the fields of accounting, banking, NGO coordination, maintenance of records and files, communication, time management, first aid, nutrition and public health, organizers said.

IOM, Kilinochchi branch financed and guided the program aimed at improving the health and socio economic status of the residents of Kilinochchi and surrounding areas, according to IOM officials.
