Meanwhile, a mother from Kondavil area registered complaints with the Human Rights Commission (HRC) in Jaffna Monday that her son Thambyaiah Jegan, 26, was abducted by persons in a White Van and that her two younger school going sons, aged 14 and 17 had escaped and fled from the abductors, HRC officials said.

The mother also said that she can identify the abductors who are from Atchelu Sri Lanka Army (SLA) camp and that they told her policemen were taking her son to Kopay police station, sources added.
