Family man reported abducted in Batticaloa

A family man from Ka'luvankea'ni First division in Ea'raavoor police division in Batticaloa district is reported missing since May 21 evening, according to complaints made by his wife at Ea'raavoor police station and at Batticaloa ICRC office.
Sivalingam Indran, 31, a fisherman of School road at 1st division, Ka'l'luvankeani and a father of a child, had left to Kaaththaankudi May 21 on his motor cycle with money to buy a van. He was last seen passing Arschadichchanthi in Batticaloa around 6:30 p.m, according to the complaint made by his wife Sinthuja Indran. Karuna paramilitary group members had abducted Indran, alleged Indran's relatives. There are several Karuna paramilitary group camps located in Batticaloa, they added. ka'luvankea'ni is situated 17 km northwest of Batticaloa town.
