Claymore attack paralyzes Batticaloa-Colombo train service

A policeman and two civilians, including a child, were wounded Wednesday morning when a Claymore mine was exploded targeting a train compartment at Miyaangku'lam in Batticaloa district, Police said. The railway track was damaged in the attack, paralyzing the train service.

The Claymore explosion was reported at 7:20 a.m.

Miyaangku'lam is located between Welikanda and Oaddamaavadi.
