2 SLA troops killed in Pa'divirichchaan

Sniper Unit of the Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam (LTTE) shot and killed 2 Sri Lanka Army (SLA) troops and injured more in a clash at Pa'ndivirichchaan, around 3:00 p.m, Sunday, LTTE Operations Command in Mannaar said.

The clashes erupted when SLA troops attacked LTTE posts in the area with artillery support. There were no casualties on the LTTE side in the clashes that lasted for 25 minutes, according to the LTTE.

SLA troops, caught in the booby traps, sustained injuries, while they fled back to their positions, source added.
