Tamil youth missing in Ea’raavoor

A Tamil youth from Mu'rakkoddaagncheanai in Ea’raavoor police division in Batticaloa district has been missing since 11 February after leaving his home around 10:30 a.m, the youth's relatives said. The youth is mentally ill, and his relatives believe that he may have travelled to Vavuniyaa or Colombo.

Sivanathan Peremachandran, 25, was living in a house located on Main Street in Ea’raavoor.

He was wearing brown pants and light yellow short sleeve shirt the day he went missing.

The relatives request anyone seeing Premachandran to kindly contact the following Telephone number: 065 2240504.

It is not known whether Premachandran has been arrested by police or Sri Lanka Army.

Mu'rakkoddaagncheanai is located 19 km north of Batticaloa town.
