Muslim hooligans sexually assault mother, daughter in Akkaraippattu

A mother and her daughter who were custodians at a coconut estate were sexually assaulted by a gang of Muslim thugs at 1:30 a.m. Friday in Oluvil area within Akkaraippattu police division in Ampaa'rai District, police sources said.
The victim, a widowed mother, 38 and her daughter, 16, Akkaraippattu were in the coconut plantation located behind South Eastern University owned by an area resident D.H.L.Hadjiar at the time of the attack. The land owner’s son reported the incident to Akkaraippattu police. Both mother and her daughter have been admitted for treatment at Akkaraippattu base hospital. Two of those involved in the sex assault have already been arrested, and the police are searching for the other culprits Akkaraippattu police spokesperson said. The two victims residents of P.C Road Koarakallimadu Kiraan area in Vaazhaicheanai used to go to Oluvil to earn their living and many other families in the area have also work in rice mills in Kalmunai ,Addaa’laichcheanai and Akkaraippattu, sources said. The Muslim thugs and some poIice men are involved in numerous sexual assaults and the local police do not take action to curb such acts, residents in the area said
