Tamil man reported missing in Vavuniyaa

A 30-year-old Tamil man was reported missing in Cheddikku'lam in Vavuniyaa division since Thursday, according to a complaint lodged with the Cheddikku'lam police by his mother Monday.

Thillaiyampalam Thillairasa left home to buy some provision from the co-operative society in the area, according to his mother. He failed to return home thereafter.

Later, she came to know that her son had been forcibly taken by unidentified men in their motor bike while he was returning home. She said her son had no connection with political movements or any other organizations.
