3 youths reported missing in Vavuniyaa, Mannaar

One Tamil youth was abducted in Vavuniyaa, and two Tamil youths were reported missing in Mannaar since last Tuesday in two separate incidents, according to complaints lodged by their relatives in respective police station.

27 year-old Jothinayagam Jesuthasan of Kattaikulam in Vavuniyaa division was abducted by unidentified armed persons who arrived in a white van when he was traveling via Kurumanalkaadu in Vavuniyaa division, according to a complaint lodged by his brother Jothinayagam Gnanapiragasam with the Vavuniyaa Police.

Two other Tamil youths, Charles Rohanraj, 25, and Mehanad Tharshan, 25, had been reported missing after they left for work on Tuesday.

Both had been residents of Thottaweli in Errukalampiddy division in Mannaar district, according to complaints lodged by their relative M.Charles Joseph with the Mannaar Police and Inspector General of Police.
