Rehabilitation Camp in Kaithadi
53 families of Vanni civilians held in Kaithadi Saiva Children Home were first relocated to SLA internment village in Raamaavil in Chaavakachcheari area and SLA had tried to take away the youngsters among them to be detained in the newly opened SRC in Kaithadi Saiva Children Home.

But the parents of the above children had protested against their children being taken away from them.

Consequently, SLA had moved all the 53 families back to Kaithadi Saiva Children Home SRC along with their children.

The children are allowed to attend a school under the control of SLA near the camp.
