Seven SLA soldiers killed -VoT

Seven Sri Lanka army soldiers were killed in two separate attacks in the Mannar area, the Voice of Tigers (VoT) radio said in its morning transmission today.

Four Sri Lanka Army soldiers were killed on Tuesday (June 22), while three were killed on Wednesday (June 23) the radio said.

Meanwhile the Liberation Tigers attacked the SLA troops advancing in two directions in the Manal Aaru area in the northeast of the island, on Tuesday, forcing them to retreat, the radio added.

The Liberation Tigers, according to the radio, recovered the body of a SLA soldier, one T56-2 assault riffle and other military equipment.
