SLAF jets kill 3 civilians

At least three civilians are said to have been killed and nine others wounded when Sri Lankan air force jets bombed Pooneryn in the north of the Vanni on Thursday at noon.

The dead civilians have only been identified as Theivendiram, Selvaraj and Rooban. No other details are available at the moment.

However, of the injured, 7 were admitted to Akarayan hospitak and 2 to Mallavi hospital, according to the Voice of Tigers broadcast this evening.
