Four wounded in incidents

Two time bombs fixed to bicycles exploded, injuring three civilians in two separate incidents- one at Muttur town and other at Serunuwara this afternoon, residents said.

At about 3.15 p.m. a time bomb fixed to a bicycle exploded close to Muttur hospital, injuring two civilians. They were admitted to Muttur hospital, sources said.

At about 2.45 p.m. at Ali-Oluwa junction in Serunuwara, another time-bomb also fixed to a bicycle exploded, injuring one civilian. He was admitted to hospital.

Elsewhere a SLA informant who was member of the paramilitary group, TELO, was shot and wounded by unidentified men at Ali-Oluwa in Serunuwara early this morning police sources said.

Security forces blamed the Liberation Tigers for the attack.
