Techniques to improve milk production discussed in Batti seminar

Delegates to a seminar organized at the Artificial Insemination Unit in Karadiyanaru, Batticaloa district, Friday morning, presided by the head of Tamil Eelam Ecomonic Development Organization (TEEDOR), Nizam, reviewed methods to be adopted to increase milk production, seminar attendees said.

The seminar which continued from 10am for four hours, was conducted by Veterinarian Dr. Muhunthan and Lecturer in Livestock breeding technology, Mr. Suntharalingam.

More than one hundred livestock breeders from Karadiyanaaru area participated in the seminar.

The discussions centered on ways of breeding high quality cattle and techniques in artificial insemination that facilitates such selective breeding, seminar attendees said.
