Poet Puthuvai Ratnathurai, the head of the Thamileelam Cultural Department of the LTTE, Monday evening delivered his keynote address at an event to release a collection of poems “ Manamuruhi Vayalveliyil” written by a Jaffna born Tamil poet now living in Switzerland held at Valvettithurai Sithamabara College hall.

Mr. Ratnathurai, addressing a large gathering at the event, appealed to Tamils living abroad to come forward to fight against the international community if it attempts to impose a half-baked political solution on Sri Lankan Tamils.

At the commencement, the head of the Sea Tigers Unit in Vadamarachchi north, Ms. Kalyani, hoisted the Thamileelam national flag. The father of an LTTE martyr, Mr.R.Thangeswararajah, lit the flame of sacrifice.

Mr. Ratnathurai further said in his keynote address that, “ the recent actions of the international community are causing concern to us. We are prepared to fight to achieve our goal.”
