EPDP stages Satyagraha

Sports goods for Vadamaradchi blocked

The Sri Lankan Army (SLA) stopped goods allocated by the Jaffna Government Agent (GA) for thirteen sports clubs in Vadamaradchi east on November 8. Each club had been granted sports goods, including volley ball and football sets, to the value of ten thousand rupees by the GA last month.

Airstrike kills six civilians

Vadamaradchi faces isolation

Fishing ban hits Jaffna fishermen

SLA stipulates travel restriction

The Sri Lankan Army (SLA) has stipulated that civilians living in the villages of Thambagamam and Kaluthaavalali in the Palai region of Jaffna can enter the areas under the army's control, including the Palai town, only three times a week from yesterday, October 31. Outsiders have been completely prohibited from entering the general area in which the two villages lie.
