PLOTE disbands intelligence unit

Six persons were wounded and one killed when a bomb exploded at a sentry of the PLOTE's main camp at Kovilkulam in Vavuniya this morning around 8. 10 a.m. Four among the wounded were civilians taking part in a bicycle race. The person who was killed was identified as Mayilvaganam Chandramohan, 13, a civilian from Kovilkulam.
