Prisoners demand to be charged or released

Tamil parties welcome peace call

All of the Tamil political parties in Colombo welcomed LTTE leader, Veluppillai Prabhaharan's, call for peace negotiations with the Sri Lankan government. The LTTE leader made this statement in his Maaveerar, (great heroes), day speech last evening. He went on to say that a negotiated solution to the conflict should occur through third party mediation.

Security concerns in Colombo

Tension after Galle cricket match

LTTE radio begins Sinhala service

Tamil Eelam Vaanoli (radio), the commercial service of the Voice of Tigers (VoT), will commence a Sinhala transmission from today, November 25, the radio said. The Transmission will have a news broadcast at 6.30 am and 6.30 p.m., and will be followed by other special programs, the radio added.

Tiger aircraft sighted again?
