Hindu priest injured

Nandhakumar Shanmuhanaathan, 31, the assistant of the Hindu priest of the Neervely Kandasamy temple in Jaffna was seriously wounded when the SLA shot him while he was on his way to open the temple this morning around 5.30 a.m. Sources in Jaffna said that his condition is serious as bullets had ripped through his abdomen.

SLA 'discovers' 3 dead bodies in Kodikamam

Three unidentified bodies with gun shot wounds, which included a woman's, were handed over by the police to the Jaffna Hospital yesterday said sources in Jaffna. The police, who said the bodies were discovered at Kodikamam, 22 km south of Jaffna town, received possession of the bodies from the Sri Lanka Army (SLA).

Torture victim admitted to Jaffna hospital

Kfir bombs force thousands to flee
