TULF Ex-MP resigns

E. Thurairatnasingam, former Tamil United Liberation Front (TULF) Member of Parliament (MP) for Batticaloa submitted his resignation from the party and from all positions he held in the party, political sources in Batticaloa said.

In letter sent to the Party secretary and other officials of the party Mr. Thurairatnasingam did not mention the reasons for his decision to resign.

Mr.Thurairatnasingam participated in the meeting held last Sunday, presided by Joseph Pararajasingam calling for the resignation of TULF President Ananda Sangaree.

However, in the meeting Mr.Thurairatnasingam did not express his opinions about TULF President and did not mention his own decision to resign.
