Fasting Jaffna farmer's condition said deteriorating

The condition of Mr. Sellakili Anandaranjan, the farmer who began fasting to death in Chavakachcheri from Wednesday, is deteriorating, relatives said. The farmer started the fast unto death protest against the Sri Lankan armed forces for occupying the homes and fields of hundreds of farming families in Thenmaradchi South Division of Jaffna. Mr. Anandaranjan has refused to take water, relatives said.
