Trader said missing in Jaffna

Mr. Chandrasekaran Kamalasuthan, 25, a trader from Ilavalai in Jaffna, is reported to be missing since February 17, according to a complaint made by his wife at the Sri Lanka Human Rights Commission in Jaffna, civil sources said.

The complainant said when she and her six-months-old child returned home after a visit to the home of a relative, she found a letter written by her husband that he was going to Jaffna town.

According to the complaint, the trader has not returned home since then.

HRC's Jaffna regional office has taken steps to locate the missing trader, sources said.
