"Thamileelam freedom struggle has attained a new dimension with the full participation of Thamileelam people and not confined only to the Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam (LTTE). How can then anyone ban our freedom struggle?" asked Mr.S.Elilan, Trincomalee district of the LTTE addressing the graduation event of a group of teachers who underwent military training under the Rural Volunteer Force held at Eachchilampathu division in Trincomalee district Saturday evening, LTTE sources said.

According to United Nations charter oppressed people in anywhere in the world can fight for their liberation. UN Charter recognizes this birthright of the people, Mr.Elilan said.

Mobilization of all segements of our people equipped with basic skills first to defend themselves from aggressors, and progressively to learn the military skills necessary to provide support to defend our homeland, will continue to take place in the Northeast, Elilan said.
