JVP's counselors on de-merger as advisors to GoSL delegation

H.L. de Silva and Gomin Dayasiri, two of the three counselors for the JVP petition that led to the recent ruling by Sri Lanka Supreme court on NorthEast de-merger, arrived in Geneva as legal advisors to the Sri Lankan delegation.

The GoSL delegation is led by Sri Lankan Minister of Healthcare and Nutrition Nimal Sripala de Silva and comprises SL Ministers Jeyaraj Fernandopulle, Rohitha Bogollagama and Ferial Ashraff.

Secretary General of Sri Lanka Peace Secretariat Dr. Palitha Kohone, the two lawyers Gomin Dayasiri and H.L.de Silva, Central Bank Governor Nivard Cabraal and former Inspector General of Police (IGP) Chandra Fernando are among those comprise the rear-team of the GoSL team for talks in Geneva.
