US, Indian appeasement weakness makes Beijing, Colombo to play old game

[TamilNet, Monday, 27 August 2012, 04:59 GMT]
China will be providing US $ 100 million for permanent ‘housing schemes’ of the Sinhala military occupying the country of Eezham Tamils. The Chinese offer to set up accommodation and infrastructure facilities in the SL military camps in the North and East, is in line with the long-standing ‘national security’ argument of Sri Lanka, despite pressure from Western nations and India to reduce the military presence in the North and East, said Colombo media reports on Sunday. Colombo’s campaign is timed for mounting pressure from Tamil Nadu against New Delhi’s training of Sinhala military and for the impending Colombo visit of Chinese defence minister on Wednesday. Genocidal Colombo’s endless game has to be stopped somewhere by united and decisive action of the world, rather than competitive appeasement, commented South Asian affairs analysts.

While the USA, India, their institutions and media architected the war against the nation of Eezham Tamils, believing that upholding the Sinhala state would benefit their strategic interests, 80 per cent of the firepower that led the course of the war into genocide was provided by China.

India and the USA are left to face the brunt of criticism, public anger and future uprisings in the region against New Delhi and the decadent establishments of the West.

Even after seeing the results, New Delhi’s policy planners of the 1962 legacy of VK Krishna Menon and an influential section of Indian media were implying Colombo’s China option for their argument of India’s continued buttressing of the genocidal state and regime. The West was harping merely on a ‘regime change’ to put a chronic question of the state under the carpet.

Now the highlight of the five-day visit of the Chinese defence minister and his high-powered defence delegation to Colombo is building permanent Sinhala military colonies in the country of Eezham Tamils, just across the waters of Tamil Nadu/ India.

Neither a ‘regime change’ nor the 13-plus/ LLRC implementation formulas would work with the bold, long-term, military-genocidal plans of Beijing and Colombo.

The future turmoil in the region would definitely go beyond the credibility-lost West and New Delhi that is dreaming to keep the entire island as its backyard property. In fact this is the intention behind the mischievous assistance of China and is the survival hope of the genocide-obsessed Sri Lankan state, now pampered by India and the West.

On the eve of the delegation’s visit, China has also announced providing US$ 1.5 million to the SL Defence Services College in Colombo for the benefit of the children of the genocidal military. China has never provided any assistance to the welfare of the survivors of the people its weapons killed. It did the same to the JVP too even when it was ‘Communist’ China.

Meanwhile, in a yet to be publicised deal, Colombo has recently signed an agreement with China to buy six MA-60 aircraft at US$ 105.4 million, Colombo’s Sunday Times cited an SL finance ministry official.

The banks of the West and India give huge amounts of money to stabilise the genocidal state.

According to SL foreign ministry cited by Sunday Times, this week’s defence delegation visit of China will be followed by another 96-strong high-power delegation in September, led by Chinese Peoples Congress Vice President.

The visiting Chinese defence minister, Liang Guanglie was chief of staff of China’s military between 2002 and 2007. He was later a member of the Central Military Commission of China.

In contrast, the Indian defence minister AK Antony and foreign minister SM Krishna who now pass the buck over the issue of New Delhi’s training to Sinhala military in Tamil Nadu were formerly chief ministers of Kerala and Karnataka respectively. These regional satraps lacking vision depend heavily on inertia-filled bureaucrats, commented political observers in New Delhi.

The Indian PM always kept a blundering distance either from taking decisions against the genocidal course of the war or from setting the course right in the aftermath. The scenario allowed biased and cock-eyed elements controlling the establishment to have their way, was the comment of some party politicians from Tamil Nadu who attended meetings convened by Manmohan Singh during the war.

Shiv Shankar Menon – Anand Sharma model of competitive shopping visits to Colombo, ignoring liberation solution to the genocide question, would backfire both in the island and inside India, the politicians warned.
