TNA to hold district level ISGA awareness meeting

Sampanthan complains of SLN intrusion into civilian lands

The Trincomalee district parliamentarian, Mr.R.Sampanthan, Wednesday complained to the Trincomalee Government Agent that the Sri Lanka Navy has intruded into a rectangular plot of land in the Manayaveli-Sandicove residential area, which comes under the Trincomalee divisional secretariat division, and erected concrete fence in an attempt to annex the rectangular plot of land to the SLN-occupied lands.

Akashi to meet LTTE leadership in Kilinochchi Tuesday

Tamil National Alliance (TNA) parliamentary group leader Mr.R.Sampanthan Sunday told the Japanese special peace envoy Mr.Yasushi Akashi that flow of foreign aid to Sri Lanka should depend on the progress made in establishing the Internal Self Governing Authority (ISGA) in northeast province. Mr.Sampanthan met with Mr. Akashi in the Japanese embassy in Colombo Sunday morning and held more than an hour long discussion on the current political situation in Sri Lanka, TNA sources said.

More vacancies in NEPC administration - Sampanthan

NECORD funds new school building in Kanniya
